As promised please find FEEDBACK for Brands – Widget Sync

When we created a brand it has automatically added to the widget menu. We clicked on the new link created in the home page widget and lead us to the page with no products on which is also right as we do not have any products on the newly created widget and its page.

Then we tried to edit the name of the widgets on (View Brands Edit page) and then saved it again wich after we open the home page widget and then clocked on updated link and it lead us to the page that does not exist. As noted the system generate incorrect URL links with %20 on it so we assume something with link generated issue.

We also created an other brand and it appeared on the widget but when we tried to add a product to its widget and when we clicked on the new name and it lead us to the same page not found.

We stopped testing and did not try to add a product to a multiple Brands or Categories as the job is not fully complete.

Please fix the above and ensure it works for all scenarios including adding a product to a multiple categories brands that are newly created.

Hello Nishit sure will ask them again about “Top Categories – Widget Sync” i have checked myself now and it works good to me, will try to get feedback from them by tomorrow. I like your #13875 that we should bring old coddings to more enovative functionalities.

While im reaching out to EN site admin please fix reserve button on home page and then you can go ahead with the rest of the tasks so we have been moving further with all the jobs.

Hello Nishit thank you for these details, so from your reply above #13872
firstly: – I understood that we have done an API code and API instructions for our API users which we all API library and this work well from our side. The only problem is that we no loner need API calls for brands but these are in our API library – which probably confusing our customers.

secondly – Since we have done Matching Numbers job and that may have more same numbers appearing in the different areas also affecting our API library encoded version.
These above bringing us to a stage when customers would like to fetch more numbers from our DB and this causes our site resources handling with it and as a result we experiencing slow browsing issues.

If I got it right we may need to modernize our API library and adopt it functionality to the above mentioned realities.

As a result please Nishit continue on finishing this Job including bug fixes reported earlier,: – the site browsing speed is now better I can confirm that. Reserve number button still to be fixed so please fix this as well then we may need to do a Junk Param job ( being planned currently) which will bring us closer to the API Improvement Job.

While on these tasks we will be working on API Improvement job road map and when we come to that we also ask your opinion on how to make this work professionally effective and maximum transparent and manageable for the EN site administration.

Please also make your resolution thoughts on the #13870 how we can standardize the project layout.

Hi Nishit in addition to my previous message we have checked the prices on home page are now visible but reserve button has disappeared ;(, this is also we need to look at when we fix something some other parts got broken down. Could you please check why it is happening?

For API calls in your : “i have default limit of 500” – we have some API customers ordering thousands of numbers from the EN project is that mean that now they wont be able to get all the inventories?

For your: “to prevent site speed issues” – do you think our project resources are subject to improvement please let me know more details on this. We need that our EN customers have an ability to get all numbers from our EN inventory and we no longer need restrict them from accessing any numbers. If it requires more resources i could hear that ppl say we do have enough, and if it requires more encoding improvement then let us know so we will include it in our future jobs for you.

Please also double check: – If three are two API calls available for the API to use then do our customers know about it, is mentioned in the API guide page and docs?

Good day Nishit, thank you for your reviews and repairs, yeah i think we need to double or triple check on every codding’s we do so it functions well so we wont get back to that again for more repairs.

Would you please advice if any other factors affect these above errors on the site? We would not want you to spent your time on repairing issues and bugs and would like to know how to minimize them and eventually get rid of all the bugs and errors from the project.

That’s how we can focus on some bigger jobs that we would like you to do.

For #13859 – i hope these two different API’s use instructions had been already mentioned on the EN Developers page. Any way we are panning a proper job on API in the nearest future when we can modernize this part of the project by brining more efficiency and track and trace options for the API users and its management.
